Vegetarianism is Immoral??

Apropos of the dustup surrounding the Leiter Poll, this guy over at the National Review thinks vegetarianism (and, one would assume, veganism) is immoral.  His argument is beyond shallow but that’s the way these things sometimes go.

  1. Yes I just got into a huge argument with my christian family about this. They will always believe that humans are superior and animals were put on this earth just so we can eat them. Since this country is founded as a “protestant” country we have a long way to go – especially when we are fighting against something they believe is coming directly from God himself.

I would like to state that I am not saying that Christians are bad people, just a little misguided in their intellectual reasoning.

  2. Thanks for sharing. I think it also important to note that there are all kinds of Christians — from vegans to omnivores and liberal to conservative. Christianity mandates no one approach to inter-species relationships.
