A conference and CLE opportunity of interest, particularly but not only for those in Pennsylvania:
Animal Law Conference
Now in its seventh year, PBI is pleased to present this popular seminar which continues to attract new and curious attendees each year and which has a loyal following of annual customers! If you’ve attended the seminar in the past, then you know how educational and entertaining the day is! If you’ve not attended before, now is the time to sign up and get in on the fun and earn six CLE credits.
Program topics will include:
Animals & Entertainment by Bruce A. Wagman, Esq.
Mr. Wagman is a partner with Schiff Hardin LLP in San Francisco and devotes virtually his entire practice to animal law litigation, consultation and education. Within that area he has also developed a subniche practice in chimpanzee and ape protection and animals in entertainment. He has drafted briefs on the issues of damages for animal injuries and custody that have been filed in nearly 100 cases nationwide. He is the co-author of Animal Law, the premier casebook used in law schools nationwide for legal education in the field. Mr. Wagman is a frequent lecturer around the country on animal law issues. He is also the Chief Outside Litigation Counsel of the Animal Legal Defense Fund (ALDF), and in that role oversees and devises ALDF’s nationwide animal protection litigation program.
